Is PlentyONE the right software solution for my strategy - what are typical scenarios in which PlentyONE is used?


PlentyONE is an excellent software for implementing your multichannel strategies, meaning when it comes to centrally managing and administering your products across online shops and multiple online platforms such as Amazon, Otto, Kaufland, Douglas, or Media Markt.
Additionally, PlentyONE offers further features to handle your e-commerce processes such as picking, goods receipt, returns processing, invoice generation, and more.

When optimally configured, PlentyONE can be your decisive competitive advantage because:

- Key e-commerce workflows can be fully automated
- E-commerce requirements are mapped in a single software system, an "all-in-one-solution"
- All distribution channels can be centrally controlled and managed
- Individual requirements can be enabled thanks to modern technologies

PlentyONE already provides interfaces to the most important online platforms, Marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Kaufland can be easily connected with minimal effort. Missing interfaces to additional marketplaces can be quickly and easily integrated, for example, via the REST-API.

However, there are also scenarios in which PlentyONE may be less suitable.
Therefore, it is important to individually review your requirements beforehand. In our free introductory conversation, we initially focus on determining whether PlentyONE can be sensibly integrated into your strategy.

Typically, PlentyONE is used in the following scenarios:

→ As a central all-in-one software solution for smaller and medium-sized e-commerce companies.

→ As a dedicated middleware solution for sales on online platforms by larger trading companies and manufacturers. In this case, PlentyONE is integrated into your existing software landscape, and ERP, WMS, or PIM systems are connected.  

What are the costs associated with the introduction of PlentyONE?

The costs vary depending on your individual support needs and the associated effort. Our services are generally billed by the hour and range between 110.00€ and 150.00€ per hour, depending on the type of support required.

Smaller projects, in which we configure the basic setup, item transfer, connection to Amazon, employee training and the most important automations, can be implemented in just around 40 hours.

Larger projects, such as the development of D2C strategies with plentymarkets, require comprehensive planning and should be implemented step by step. In doing so, we like to use the concept of the Minimum Viable Product to clearly define the scope of the project. The workload here is extremely individual.

How does the collaboration with com·create work?

First, we will discuss your requirements together in a free discussion and evaluate whether the use of PlentyONE makes sense for you and what special features you should pay particular attention to in your project.
Optionally, we can then assess the extent to which we can provide meaningful support for your project implementation. To do this, we will create a detailed project plan with key tasks and estimated completion dates. We will also define the extent to which your involvement is required during the project.
After project handover, we offer you the option to enter into a support contract, providing you with a dedicated point of contact to address future inquiries and provide assistance.
Upon request, regular Jour Fixe meetings can also be arranged to discuss interim results or answer questions. We will proactively stay in touch with you and keep you informed about relevant system changes or new features of PlentyONE. Additionally, we will incorporate training sessions for your employees to familiarize them with PlentyONE.
